Intelligent
The Intelligent provides the practitioner with state-of-the-art computerized technology. It is equipped and controlled by an Intel microprocessor "chip". The Intelligent's central processing unit offers the most advanced features, which allow for the selection of pre-programmed settings for various procedures, i.e. eyebrow, eyeliner, lip color and medical procedures.
The Intelligent was designed to assist the practitioner in distinguishing between the varying areas of application, i.e. eyes, lips, eyebrows and medical. Software installed in the central processing unit, the operating system of the Intelligent consistently calculates the best needle frequency (speed) needed to achieve optimal pigment retention. Skin structure varies according to the location because the structure and tolerance of the skin is different for each area of application.
For example: For areola pigmentation, the skin structure is very dense compared to that of an eye lid, which is very thin and supple. When set on "Medical" the Intelligent will provide a more efficient way to deposit pigment in those areas, by automatically increasing the power to the handpiece and by adjusting the needle frequency. In a similar manner, when the practitioner is working on an eyeliner procedure, the control unit of the Intelligent can be set to "Eyes", which slows down the power to the handpiece and adjusting of needle frequency, therefore depositing pigment more gently.
The Intelligent has more power than any other rotary device. The needle frequency can be adjusted from 50 to 180 punctures per second. This allows the practitioner more flexibility in needle groupings. With the increased pwer, the practitioner is able to perform every type of cosmetic and medical procedure available.
The Intelligent has a LCD read out, which desplays accurate needle frequency, which program you are working on the needle frequency the Intelligent recommends for the procedure. A timer within the Intelligent, keeps track of actual procedure time and is displayed on the LCD.

Digital 700
The Digital 700 provides optimal results in less time. The digital control (microprocessor) assures stable needle frequency resulting in perfect pigment color retention. Touch-ups have become almost obsolete.
The Nouveau Contour Digital 700 is the most efficient device available and has many advantages over the traditional analogue devices. With traditional devices the needle frequency will drip when penetrating skin that is more resistant. Due to different needle frequencies the distance between the pigment "dots" will vary. The results are inconsistent lines and poor color retention.
The digital control unit of the Nouveau Contour Digital 700 assures a stable needle frequency, despite the resistance of the skin. When resistance of the skin occurs, the microprocessor will adjust the needle frequency accordingly. To make a simple analogy, imagine what occurs when you place your car on cruise control, when the car reaches an incline in the road, it speeds up maintaining a consistent and preset speed. In a similar manner the digital control unit will always maintain a stable needle frequency. The Nouveau Contour Digital 700 provides the technician with consistent quality and excellent results. Safety Handpiece
The Nouveau Contour Intelligent and the Digital 700 both come standard with the Safety Handpiece.
The handpiece is equipped with a patented Safety Needle Cartridge, worldwide this is the first permanent make-up "rotary / pen" machine that guarantees no chance of cross contamination.
To achieve the best results on different skin types and with individual techniques the hand piece is designed to change pigmentation depth. The hand piece is made of die cast aluminun and is extremely light. It comes standard with a Zero Tolerance system. You will never experience any sideward fluctuation of the needle. Hair strokes look more natural, lines look sharper and procedure time is reduced.
The Safety handpiece is equipped with an Easy-Click system, which allows for quick attachment or detachment of Nouveau's patented Safety Needles. This leads to fast changes between needle configurations, or use of various pigment colors.

Safety Needle
Tests have proven that the risk of cross contamination with traditional machines due to possible backflow of liquids and circulation of contaminated air within the hand piece is prevalent. For the safety of both the technician and the client, the Nouveau Contour system works unlike other systems: The needle and the needle "tube" are integrated in one disposable cartridge system. Internal diaphragms halt and prevent fluid and airborne contaminants from entering the hand piece, which is therefore completely independent of the disposable cartridge. The system is therefore void of any possibility of cross contamination.
International governmental agencies have become extremely concerned with the threat of fluid cross-contamination to the hand piece. The Nouveau Contour patented Safety needle system addresses these concerns (US-Pat . #6,505,,630 and #6,345,553). Verifiably, traditional machines are subject to airborne and fluid cross-contamination.
Nouveau Contour realizes that it is imperative that the disposable tube / needle cartridges be sterilized. Each cartridge is packed separately in a class 100.000 clean room and sterilized using EO gas to prevent disease transmission. The entire cartridge, which contains the needle, can then be disposed of properly.
Another safety feature is that when the cartridge is detached from the hand piece the needle automatically retracts back into the cartridge, preventing an accidental "stick" to the technician or client.

The Nouveau Contour needles are especially designed to achieve the same quality throughout the entire procedure. Even at the end of the procedure, the points of the needles are in the exact position as at the beginning of the procedure. Nouveau Contour guarantees quality every time. In combination with the Nouveau Contour Pharma Pigment Colors, it is possible to place pigment color in to the cartridge reservoir. The reservoir can hold enough pigment for one average procedure. The tip can also be dipped in a pigment cup. All cartridges are individually packed, are gamma-sterilized in a (class 100.000) clean room and labelled with lot numbers.

Dear Permanent Make-up Technician,
I have been a practicing permanent cosmetic technician for nearly 16 years and a certified instructor for 11 years. I truly love this profession.
In the past years I have seen many great advancements in our industry from techniques, anesthetics and machines. Things just keep getting better and better. It has taken us many years to be "professionals" in the eyes of the general public. Well, we've made it! Boy, have I seen alot of permanent cosmetic machines. It was said that if you want to know about a particular machine, call Karen. She had probably bought one. Have I spent some money over the years! Some were better than others, but still I was always searching for the BEST.
Well, for those of you who know me, I don't endorse alot of things unless I really believe in it. Okay, here it is... this machine is "THE BEST".
I do between three and seven procedures almost every day. When my equipment is not working properly it is a most stressful day. Well, I have to say that I don't experience those days any longer and I'm saying this with a smile. The Nouveau Contour is a fully digital machine with a twist in and out needle cartridge. It is truly a work of art. They carry their own line of pigments which are rich and creamy. You'll get a more even result and have to do less touch ups. Of course, if your technique is not proper, you should invest in a technique class.
