Karen is the owner and founder of both Huntington Academy of Permanent Cosmetics and Faces Etc., located in Huntington Beach, California.  She is the Director of Education and has worked over 16 years putting together what she believes to be one of the best training programs available.  We pride ourselves in keeping current and deliver the most up to date information in our industry.

Karen is a licensed cosmetologist with over 30 years experience in art, beauty, color, make-up, and design and has worked closely with many medical professionals and cosmetic surgeons. She has lectured at many trade show conferences, cosmetic surgery and laser seminars, written articles for medical clinic newsletters as well as Skin Inc. and Cosmetech magazines.  She speaks at local centers and numerous workshops throughout the United States. She is the author of the "Ultimate Reception Book" as as well as an Advisory Board Member for the Cosmetech Trade magazine.  She is also the West Coast Distributor for the Nouveau Contour Digital Permanent Cosmetic System, servicing 15 states.

Karen is the physician's choice, being referred to by numerous dermatologists,laser specialists, cosmetic and plastic surgeons. She is an expert in the field of areola / nipple re-pigmentation after mastectomy reconstruction surgery and is also an insurance provider for a medical group.

Primary training programs differ from school to school, so where you choose to train is crucial.  The Huntington Academy specializes in education, when a solid foundation is of the utmost importance.  We also offer advanced education classes throughout the year.  Karen is a member of the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals (SPCP) and is a master instructor member of the Permanent Cosmetic Instructor Associates.
